Into Film is an education charity, which enables young people to learn through and about film, contributing to their cultural, creative and personal development, and is supported by the BFI with Lottery funding. Putting film at the heart of young people’s learning, Into Film Clubs are free for all state funded schools and non-school settings and offer free access to thousands of films and education resources about film and filmmaking, as well as learning about the film industry and careers within it. Inclusive and accessible for all students regardless of their background or ability, Into Film Clubs help promote young people’s educational, social, moral and spiritual progression. Our ambitious UK-wide programme provides 5-19 year olds with unparalleled opportunities to see, think, make and imagine, contributing to their educational, cultural, creative and personal development. This is achieved by working with the education and informal youth sectors to support and promote learning through and about film, partnering with industry to enhance the appreciation and understanding of film and taking advantage of the learning solutions made possible by digital technology.
