Adolesco is a non-profit organisation offering tailor-made cultural and linguistic exchanges for young people aged 9-17 years to France, Spain and Germany for 3 weeks – 3 months. The founders are language teachers who have well over 30 years’ experience and are dedicated to the idea that such exchanges offer participating children and their families’ extraordinary benefits. Modern Language classes can also become more motivational when there is a pupil who can talk about their ‘real’ experience overseas and who have a better grasp of the spoken language. Learning a new language, understanding another culture, and growing beyond our cultural boundaries benefits ourselves, our families and our diverse world. We encourage support from teachers to help us promote this amazing opportunity for young people. Adolesco provides all the administrative duties and responsibility for each exchange so there is no extra work for teachers or their schools.
