Dear ALL members,
We are excited to announce the 2025 edition of the ALL West of England Sixth Form Lectures!
Building on last year’s success, the programme will once again feature lectures in Spanish, French, and German. Hosted at the University of Bristol, each lecture will be delivered by an experienced university-level speaker, focusing on topics directly relevant to exam board specifications. These sessions are designed to engage both AS and A-level students and would be suitable for talented linguists in Y11 as well.
The event will also again include presentations by the University’s fourth-year language students, who will share their experiences of studying languages at university, their year abroad, and the impact language learning has had on their lives and future opportunities.
We are confident these engaging lectures and inspiring student presentations will provide valuable insights and motivation for sixth-form students as they explore their potential pathways as language learners!
Tickets are £5 per student per lecture, with free entry for accompanying teachers.
