Applications for the Japanese Speech Contest, the Nihongo Cup, are now open.
Details: The contest is split into three categories: Key Stage 3, Key Stages 4 and 5 Pre-GCSE and Key Stages 4 and 5 Post-GCSE. Please click here to see the Nihongo Cup Information and Rules.
Prizes: The best speaker from each category will receive a trophy, which their school can keep for one year. Gold, silver and bronze medals will also be presented to the winner and two runners-up. The winner of the Key Stages 4 and 5 Post-GCSE category will also be invited to travel to Japan to participate in the Japanese Speech Award Finals and Cultural Programmes at the end of July.
Closing Date: Applications should be submitted by Friday 24 March 2017. Please note that all applications must be submitted via email. The Nihongo Cup application form can be found here.
