The Department for Education recently announced a consultation on new Apprenticeship Standards. The survey requested comments on proposals to develop new Apprenticeship Standards submitted by employer groups, before a decision is made on whether to approve them for further development.
Apprenticeships are a key component of the growth agenda, and the Government is encouraging the creation of high quality apprenticeships to meet the needs of employers and apprentices, and to help drive up growth and productivity across the economy.
ALL commented specifically on the vocational pathway to qualified teacher status (QTS).
