Letters have been sent by email to the schools around the country whose pupils sent in entries to this year’s ALLNE EDoL writing competition ‘A Magical Trip’ along with certificates of commendation
- for schools who made an exceptional contribution
- and for individuals – from Reception to Sixth Form – whose work the judges commended especially.
Prizewinners will receive their certificate and prize – via the school contact – through the post next week. A report on the competition from a new judge is available with an anonymised list of Results by school and age group and some EDoL 2019 images of work produced.
The Judges hope that that this celebration of the amazing creative work of children in languages they are learning will be useful to teachers in raising aspirations of pupils, and raising the profile of languages in general.
