Our Autumn 2017 issue will be about using the power of multilingualism to bring people together, and will be out at the beginning of September.
In this issue, we celebrate multilingual learners and look at ways to include speakers of more than one language in class. We look at multilingual debating and how to follow a career as an interpreter, the issues facing migrants and refugees and the way language teachers are supporting their transit through Europe. We learn about life growing up in a multilingual family and we are encouraged to celebrate multilingual pupils and colleagues in our President’s Blog. In addition, there is a pull-out guide on the top ten tips for engaging multilingual learners. A great resource to display in your staff room.
Plus, there is a fantastic three page article on ways to support NQTs in their first year of teaching. This is full of tips, advice and guidance to make sure NQTs thrive at this exciting but daunting time of year.
