Today Ofqual have published further information for students and their families in the following guide: ‘What to do if you have concerns or questions about your grades: student guide to appeals and malpractice or maladministration complaints’.

The guide sets out the grounds for appeal this year and explains that a student may be able to make a complaint about malpractice of maladministration, including concerns of bias or discrimination. Please share this guide, along with their main student guide amongst your networks as Ofqual would like as many students and their families to have access to this information as possible.

Following the recent consultation, Ofqual have also published statutory guidance for exam boards on appeal arrangements for GCSE, AS and A levels this summer.
