The trustees and officers of the Association for Language Learning are saddened by the news of the Queen Elizabeth II’s death. Queen Elizabeth has been a role-model of international diplomacy throughout her seventy-year reign. Her in-depth understanding and appreciation of different cultures, countries, people and languages has inspired many of us. The Queen led the nation as an excellent, calm and measured communicator and acted frequently as international lynch pin.
