Commemorating the 600th anniversary of the battle of Agincourt

(25 October 1415)

Agincourt 600 Fund

The Association for Language Learning and the History Association are collaborating on an Agincourt 600 Fund partnership project, on the anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt… and we are seeking like-minded professionals to join our band of brothers (and sisters!)

What we are looking for:
– French teachers with an interest in history and CLIL (content and language integrated learning), and possibly eTwinning arrangements with a school in Northern France.

What they will do:
– Produce bilingual teaching resources on medieval history and language, in partnership with a history specialist. These will then be made freely available as open access cross curricular units on our website and that of the History Association. The fine detail has yet to be agreed, but we anticipate that there will be about 10 days’ writing work, with an honorarium payable.

How to express an interest:
– Please contact Wendy Newman by email to express an interest in the project and to find out more – giving a few details about yourself and why you would be a good choice for the project (~150-200 words).
