Description
Speaking is one of the skills which causes anxiety for some learners and it was only in recent years that I realised I wasn’t teaching them to become the best speakers they could be. Despite spending time on developing creative, independent and small group tasks, introducing and personalising a range of cooperative learning strategies, expanding incidental learning opportunities and using a range of technology all of which ultimately hoodwinked reticent students to ‘show me whatthey know’, there was still something missing.
